Monobloc. The plastic chair.

Cheap. Lightweight. Stackable.

Injection-moulded in a single piece—hence the name *Monobloc*. Under normal circumstances, hardly anyone notices it. And yet it is everywhere. How can an object be so ubiquitous and, at the same time, so invisible?

With this photographic series, Lindemann sought to make precisely that visible: the most successful yet most overlooked chair in the history of design.

The series is emblematic of his photographic approach—bringing quiet, seemingly insignificant objects into focus.

Ein leerer Pool im Vordergrund. Dahinter das Meer dazwischen 4 Sonnenschirme und ein paar monoblocs, oder nenne es Plastikstuhl.
